The new Honky Tonk venture is expected to move into the former home of Oak Room sometime this month, according to Jason Thomas, who also reports that more are in the works. While country fans are waiting to know the opening date, Bottle Cap Group appears to be leaning toward the popular Honky Tonk theme, with more locations coming soon. Customers can expect line dancing, live music every night, great drink specials, and more.

Bottle Cap Group is a rapidly expanding local restaurant group highlighting diversity and innovative concepts in each establishment. The group possesses a vast portfolio with several bars and restaurants in the Charlotte area, including Ink N Ivy, All American Pub, Slate Charlotte, Whiskey Warehouse, Brazwells Premium Pub, Hot Taco, and Oak Room. Additional locations in Greenville, South Carolina, include Snapper Jacks, Ink N Ivy, SIP Whiskey & Wine Bar, and Vine Nightclub.

The group was founded in 2009 by three investors and takes pride in its genuine passion for the food and beverage industry. All concepts aim to provide an experience that will keep customers coming back regularly. Last year, the group opened a seafood-centric restaurant called Sunsets in Mount Pleasant in the former home of R.B.’s on Shem Creek, which closed after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Bottle Cap Group partnered with the Charlotte-based Southern Entertainment for Sunset.
