Cook Out Firing Up Another Location in Charlotte

The Thomasville-based fast food chain has been racking up new locations in the Charlotte area.

Popular fast food chain Cook Out appears to be on its way to a new location in Charlotte. It is planning the construction of a new location at 3704 W W.T. Harris Blvd, according to recently filed permits. The spot, which is about 2,828 square feet, was formerly a Jack in the Box restaurant.

Cook Out is planning to have the spot feature a double drive-thru and indoor dining.

This new location comes in the wake of a slew of planned openings for Cook Out in the greater Charlotte area. What Now Charlotte reported on plans for locations in Charlotte, Greensboro, Hickory and Randleman as well as in Clemmons earlier this year.

The company is privately owned by Morris Reaves, with his son Jeremy Reaves as CEO. The chain has expanded to more than 350 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Mississippi. There are already more than 130 locations across North Carolina.

The menu is expected to feature Cook Out’s homemade char-grilled burgers, hot dogs and chicken, as well as its expansive shake menu.

As of now, there have been no announcements regarding an opening timeline for the new location in Charlotte.

What Now Charlotte has reached out to Cook Out for more information on the new location but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on the new spot.
