The 6,380-square-foot building will serve as both a cafe and a kitchen to support the growing demand for Giddy Goat’s food and coffee offerings.

The brand is owned and operated by Rhyne Davis and Carson Clough.

The coffee company has become so popular at its Plaza Midwood location that they need room for growth. The new spot will allow for both a larger kitchen and warehouse space for packaging coffee.

“We have been fortunate to find a very dedicated staff led by Enzo Pazos to carry us to where we are today,” Davis said. “Our Plaza Midwood location is very busy and our Chef Tony makes beloved empanadas that forced us to search for a larger kitchen.”

Though in-depth plans for the renovations have not been released, it appears that about 2,000 to 2,500 square feet will be dedicated toward a cafe space, and there are plans for outdoor seating.

The Giddy Goat is known for its handcrafted coffee drinks and its empanadas. It also sells bakery items.

“[We are] very excited that folks appreciate our mission and the enthusiasm of our dedicated staff,” Davis said. “They are the best.”

The new cafe does not yet have a set opening date.
