“As of July 22, ‘Lost and Found’ will temporarily close its doors to undergo an extensive transformation,” the July 16 statement on the brand’s Instagram read. “We envision a space that will captivate your senses and create unforgettable experiences. Our team of talented designers have been working tirelessly to create an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, vibrant and truly unique.”
The brand announced the new concept on Sept. 2, labeling Must Be Nice as “Southend Charlotte’s newest neighborhood bar.” The bar will focus on cocktails, sports and music, according to the announcement.
The new spot is also expected to feature much more indoor and outdoor seating, a patio bar and a large video wall at the bar for sports viewing.
The concept is a major shift from the former nightclub, which featured a bottle service and an extensive drink menu. The former concept will live on in its sister bar and fellow South End spot Broken Promises, which continues to offer bottle service, nightlife and DJ music.
Must Be Nice is expected to open in September, with ownership promising there are more announcements to come regarding the opening timeline.
