It has partnered with Hornets Sports & Entertainment and Levy as part of a larger renovation and restructuring project at the Spectrum Center, according to the Charlotte Observer.
The rollout will take place gradually, with culinary offerings from various Rare Roots Hospitality concepts finding their way into the concessions at the center.
Rare Roots Hospitality, owned by Jon and Kim Dressler, has multiple concepts in its portfolio, including Dressler’s, seafood spot Fin & Fino, The Porter’s House, Chapter 6 and Joan’s Bakery and Deli.
Items that Spectrum Center attendees will be able to find include Rob’s Hot Pastrami Sandwich from Joan’s Bakery and Deli, the prime rib sandwich from Dressler’s, Mom’s Cheesecake from Joan’s and a poke bowl from Fin & Fino.
“In our search for a Carolinas-based restaurant group to collaborate with, Rare Roots really stood out, as their efforts align with our vision and renewed focus on providing a high-quality, diverse food and beverage experience that meets the needs and tastes of everyone who walks through our doors,” Donna Julian, Hornets Sports & Entertainment’s executive vice president and chief venues officer, said in a release obtained by the Charlotte Observer.
Additional culinary offerings from Rare Roots Hospitality are expected to continue to appear at the center as the year progresses.
