Nanny Goat’s Instagram page describes it as “a boutique bodega set to open in the heart of RTP.”
The spot will serve produce, grab-and-go meals, bread, baked goods, flowers and other goods, according to reporting by Axios Raleigh.
Waas is also bringing her Indian restaurant concept Cheeni to the HUB RTP development, as previously reported by What Now Charlotte. Cheeni serves traditional Indian cuisine and has another location in Durham. The Cheeni location at HUB RTP is expected to open this year, Waas previously told What Now Charlotte.
“When you think about innovation, you think about RTP. Raleigh and Durham were not on the national consciousness until Research Triangle Park put them on the map. It attracted a whole lot of masterminds from all over the world,” Waas said in a previous interview. “To be in the middle of all that and serve that caliber of people and palettes from all around the world [will be great].”
As of now, an opening timeline for Nanny Goat has not been revealed.
