Guard and Grace will be taking over the 10,224 square feet space on the 10th floor of the building, featuring a full-service bar, private dining rooms, a 2,000-square-foot rooftop terrace and views of the Charlotte skyline. The spot is slated to open in mid-2026.

“The Queensbridge Collective is a stunning new mixed-use development and the perfect setting for the third location of Guard and Grace,” Troy Guard, owner and executive chef of TAG Restaurant Group, said in the release. “When looking to expand, we want a city and location that matches TAG Restaurant Group’s energy, passion and vibe — Charlotte and 1111 South Tryon deliver on every level. We are especially grateful to Riverside Investment & Development and Woodfield Development for bringing this incredible opportunity to life and allowing us to be part of such an exciting project.”

This will be Guard and Grace’s third location. Its flagship location opened in Denver in 2014 and TAG Restaurant Group opened another spot in Houston in 2019.

The menu offers beef, seafood, house-made charcuterie, seasonal vegetarian meals and a cocktail and wine program.

“Guard and Grace’s overwhelming success in cities like Denver and Houston speaks for itself,” Anthony Scacco, president at Riverside Investment & Development, said in the release. “Troy and his team have built a fine dining concept that’s on basically every ‘Best Of’ list in the country — if not the world — and we are extraordinarily excited to see the great things they will do in Charlotte.”

TAG Restaurant Group operates several other concepts, including HashTAG, Los Chingones, Bubu, TAG Burger Bar and Done Deal.

Still in development, the Queensbridge Collective is expected to begin offering occupancy in the second half of 2025.

“This project is a major milestone for us, and being the anchor for this exciting new development is truly an honor,” Guard said in the release. “We’re thrilled to become a part of the vibrant, growing community in the area, and we can’t wait to contribute to the energy by sharing delicious food, great conversations and memorable experiences with the people of Charlotte. See you soon!”
