The 6,300+-square-foot event space is located at The Pass in NoDa’s Arts District, the latest redevelopment project by Third & Urban, the team also behind Lower Tuck near Wesley Heights. The two-story venue features white walls, chandeliers, tall ceilings and amazing windows, a built-in bar, and fully furnished lounge located on the mezzanine. PINE is ready and available to host a wide variety of events including weddings, mini-monies and elopements, celebrations of life, corporate events and conferences, nonprofit galas and fundraisers, virtual meetings and gatherings, live music events, photo and video shoots, quinceañeras, mitzvahs, socials and more! PINE can accommodate 320 guests for a seated event on the main ADA-compliant level and much more for a cocktail style reception.

Key amenities at the PINE include:

  • BYOV: “Bring Your Own Vendors” philosophy for flexibility with budgets and planning
  • 24-hour rentals for ease of vendor setup and cleanup
  • The venue is pet friendly
  • Furnished lounge and two client suites
  • Professional event planners
  • Large parking lot with street parking and direct light rail access at the “Sugar Creek Station”
  • Live online calendar for understanding of availability ahead of submitting an inquiry
  • Variety of nearby restaurants and entertainment, including soon-to-open Soul Gastrolounge and Borderline Bar and Billiards at The Pass

“PINE is truly a blank canvas with amazing services so clients are able to create and host any event imaginable,” said 828 Venues CEO, Lauren Tankersley in a statement. “My favorite thing about this venue is not only its proximity to all things Charlotte, but also our approach to vendors, which provides recommendations to clients but doesn’t limit them to specific vendors so they can make the event truly custom and work with their budget and their priorities.”

PINE’s in-house services and amenities include tables, chairs, two private client rooms, a catering kitchenette, fully furnished mezzanine level, beverage service, and a team of event planners who’ve been formally trained in the events industry.
