The restaurant previously lived in Rock Hill at 2476 Cherry Road, but after an ownership change at the business plaza last fall, owner Feras Jaber decided to move out. Since then, he’s been serving Rock Hill through a food truck in a parking lot at 275 S. Charlotte Ave. Now, he’s getting ready to cross state lines and open a brick-and-mortar in the current home of Captain D’s in Pineville, according to The Post and Courier.

The new location, about 15 miles north of the previous site, is expected to open in Spring 2024. When it does, customers can expect a variety of delicious Mediterranean cuisine, featuring beef kebab, chicken shawarma, shrimp with garlic sauce, and more. The casual dining eatery has halal and vegetarian options. Considering the restaurant is taking over Captain D’s, the new location will also feature a drive-thru, like the original site, west of I-77 on Cherry Road.

This will be an excellent spot for Jasmine Grill, which will soon be found in the realm of The Centrum shopping center between Maineke Car Care and LongHorn Steakhouse. The company’s new location will see plenty of foot traffic from the shopping center and from being right off Interstate 485 and Highway 51. Finally, Jasmine Grill will be the only Mediterranean option in the area, having to compete with the Greek restaurant Showmars Pineville on the other side of the freeway.
