The company announced at the end of March that it would be closing its location in Plaza 25 for about three weeks to make renovations, which includes expanding the space. While the exact details regarding the upgrades are unknown, the restaurant will likely open around mid-to-late April. Midwood Smokehouse has updated its store hours on Yelp to be closed from April 3 through at least April 18. The company’s five other locations remain open during this time.
“NOT CLOSED, JUST GETTING BIGGER,” the company said on its social media last week. “All this smoky protein is making us swole. So much so that we are expanding our Central Ave location! To do that, we’ll be closed for the next three weeks. But you can still get your favorites at our Park Road location.”
When the newly remodeled location reopens in a few weeks, customers can expect the same mouth-watering aroma of smoked meats, an ambiance that blends rustic charm with modern comfort, and a warm, welcoming staff ready to treat you like family. Each dish is a testament to hours of smoking over local hickory hardwood, a method that imbues the meat with rich, complex flavors. The menu features a range of barbecue classics, from succulent chopped pork and tender brisket to juicy ribs and savory chicken, all smoked to perfection.
