This new restaurant will replace Pomodoro’s Italian American Cafe in Denver’s Natalie Commons Plaza, opening in late Spring 2024, according to the Charlotte Observer. 16 Prime Steak & Seafood is the latest from the team behind Joey’s Fine Food & Pizza. Customers can expect a selection of steaks, seafood, wine, and more. 16 Prime will sit in the same shopping plaza as one of the two locations of Joey’s, with the other site in Sherrills Ford.

Founders Joe and Agnes Acovski opened Joey’s Fine Food & Pizza and named it after their son, Joey Acovski, who eventually took over the location and business in Denver in 2013, along with the Sherrills Ford site in August 2020. The restaurant features a full-service bar, numerous HDTVs, and an outdoor patio. Now, Joey plans to open a new concept in a month or two. The company teases on social media that a food and drink menu will be released soon.

“We will offer top-of-the-line steaks and seafood along with a fine selection of wines and hand-crafted cocktails. This community has proven to be so supportive and loyal,” according to Joey’s Facebook post announcing the new concept. “We cannot wait to serve you guys.
