The restaurant group that brought you the Goodyear House, Haymaker, and Old Town Kitchen & Cocktail is preparing to open a new concept next to the recently opened PIE.ZAA, according to Jason Thomas. Mixologist Bob Peters will oversee the cocktail program and create a specialty drink list, while celebrity chef/ partner Chris Coleman will develop a small menu that pairs well with the drinks. There is no exact opening date for Folia.

Built on Hospitality is led by Chris Coleman, Sean Potter, and AJ Klenk. Since its inception in 2020, the group has created incredibly demanding brands throughout Charlotte, offering not just great food, drinks, and experiences but concepts with real character and soul. The group has been quickly taking over Queen City with these high-end concepts, and this isn’t the only one they are working on. Built on Hospitality, along with Bob Peters, is in the process of opening Cheif’s Cocktail Bar in NoDa.

“Chris, Sean, and AJ come from various backgrounds in the hospitality industry and have been brought together to create Built On Hospitality because of their shared love of all things restaurants, community and giving back,” according to the company’s website. “Having worked on various ventures together before, they know how to bring unique experiences and perspectives to the forefront and use their platforms they’ve built up over the years to bring about change to communities and the hospitality industry.
