The company’s newest location, and third in the greater Charlotte area, is set to move into the former home of Fox & Hound, which recently closed within Birkdale Village, according to Charlotte Business Journal. The restaurant group plans to open the restaurant in a 7,400-square-foot space in late 2024, sitting next to Red Rocks Cafe and bartaco. Fox & Hound closed on March 19 after a 20-year run.

When the restaurant opens, it will be the third time founder Sam Fox opens his North Italia concept in the Queen City, following the restaurant’s debut in South End in November 2019. Another location of the restaurant is set to open in a few months at The Bowl at Ballantyne, which is where Flower Child, another concept from Fox Restaurant Concepts, is also expected to open this year. All locations will offer delicious Italian cuisine handmade from scratch.

“At all of our North Italia locations, we’re passionate about more than just our crave-worthy Italian food menu,” according to the company’s website. “We put our all into every detail, creating an environment that lets you know you’re in for something special. Every day, there is a new delicious favorite made from scratch, like our Chef’s daily Chef’s, waiting to be discovered and devoured. A tempting assortment of wines, beer, and house-made cocktails give you endless ways to treat yourself.”
