Co-owners Julia and Jason Scholz expect to open in the BridgeWay Station in late May 2024, according to the company’s website. This will be the third concept for the husband-and-wife team, following Stella’s Southern Bistro in Simpsonville and Stella’s Southern Brasserie near Greenville’s Legacy Park. Chef James King will lead the kitchen, offering classic sit-down experiences with entrees, appetizers, and desserts.

Neal Kanipe of McMillan, Pazdan, Smith Architecture, who designed the restaurant, said that a goal for this project was to create different viewpoints in each section of the space, according to Upstate Business Journal. By doing so, each dining area would give guests a different experience despite its smaller size. The menu will feature a variety of flavors, including savory beignets and a rotisserie duck made with a five-spice blend.

“Since 2017, we have enjoyed our place as part of the fabric of the Hollingsworth Park neighborhood of Greenville,” according to the company’s website. “Stella’s has become two of the most well-known and well-loved restaurants in the Upstate. We are very excited to announce our newest location! Rôtie by Stella’s, opening in Bridgeway Station late May 2024. We will continue the dedication to sourcing products locally & regionally first and always striving to support the Upstate community that supports us.”
