The brand announced last year that a husband-wife team from corporate America is opening the company’s first location in Charlotte. Now, Jason Thomas reports the company has applied for permits to open in Vantage South End’s east tower. Franchise owner Chris Bjorson tells What Now Charlotte that, at this time, they have yet to sign a lease with the Vantage and are working on a few things on their end before coming to an agreement.

This is just the first of many new locations for the company, founded by Brianna Keefe. While Toastery already has a handful of locations in seven states and Washington D.C., the company has many new locations in development through franchising. Next year alone, the company expects to open 12 new locations throughout the country. Toastique’s website has all of these sites, including the new Charlotte location, listed to open in Spring 2024. When these locations open, customers can expect cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, gourmet toast, and smoothies. The company takes pride in using ingredients that are helpful for the body, often superfoods.

“Toastique is a boutique gourmet toast and juice bar offering a fresh, chic, rustic experience that perfectly transitions from early on-the-go breakfast to corporate lunch to post-sweat session fuel up,” according to the company’s website. “Toastique offers fresh, seasonal, and responsibly sourced products and a feel-good atmosphere all day long. When you eat great, you feel great. When you feel great, you are ready to drive your next adventure and stimulate your very best you. Inspired by Washington DC’s international personalities and picturesque destinations, yet retaining the neighborly small-town ambiance, we strive to infuse our menu with the same energy and heart. Our mission is to make eating healthy accessible and exciting, simple to understand and appreciate, and easy to enjoy.”
