The company’s 11th location is getting ready to move into the former home of Early Girl in the Dimensional Place building, according to Jason Thomas, who says Hawthorne’s NY Pizza bought the lease and is currently hiring. There is no exact timeline for the opening. The family-owned restaurant, led by Michael and John Adams, plus Chef Carlo Martinez, launched the company two decades ago after moving from New York.

When the new Hawthorne’s NY Pizza opens, customers can expect a variety of hand-tossed pizzas along with plenty of other Italian classics, such as pasta, strombolis, calzones, and more. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, from the appetizers, salads, and wings to the entrees and desserts. The company already has locations in Charlotte, Harrisburg, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Mooresville, and Concord.

“When you dine with us, you won’t find swanky reclaimed wood tables, or fancy craft cocktails,” according to the company’s website. “We believe that an excellent dining experience is about more than just food and atmosphere. It’s about sliding into a table that feels like home, and being served by people who feel like family. At Hawthorne’s, we are more than family-friendly, we are a family. And when you dine with us, you become part of that family too.”
